BESS unit racks with solar panels.

4.3.5 Grid feeding monitoring relay
The BESS is equipped with a grid-feeding monitoring relay between the battery system and the public
grid. The relay collects all relevant data regarding abnormal status of the public grid and automatically
disconnects or reconnects the battery inverter. The grid-feeding monitoring relay must be set up
according to specific local grid requirements. Please contact XOLTA support prior to delivery for setup.
If the specific grid parameter measured by the grid-feeding monitoring relay is non-compliant, a 24V
signal is no longer provided to the inverter, which is then disabled.
4.3.6 Connnecting the battery system
The main power cables enter through the base of the rack and are fed through the 50mm hole in the
right-hand front corner leading up to the power connection terminals as illustrated in Figure 4.5.
If more space is required, the hole can be enlarged to accommodate the cable size.

the cables used must allow a bending radius according to Table 4.1.
