Xerox Phaser 790 Getting Started

Printer installation

Perform this procedure

after

the Printer is unpacked, and placed in a suitable

location.

•

If you have not performed the

Preparing for the installation

procedure in

this section, do it now.

•

If the Printer is still in the original packing, go to the

Unpacking the

Printer

procedure.

Locate the Output Tray in the cardboard tray removed from the top of
the printer. Install the tray by performing steps a through c.

Standing on the left-hand side of the Printer, hold the Output Tray
as shown.

Do not place the metal spring into the hole. Ensure that the metal spring
extends down against the outside of the cover.

Place the right-hand arm of the tray into the corresponding hole as
shown.
