Configuring the Printer

Use the control panel to activate the protocol to be used.

4.2.1

Activating the Protocol

The factory setting of each protocol is set as

Enabled

. The following procedure is not

necessary when you are setting up the network for the first time using a new printer.

To print in NetWare environment, activate

NetWare

for protocol.

And to activate SNMP agent in NetWare environment, activate

SNMP IPX

for protocol.

For information on the method of activating protocols, see the "User Guide".
