Dialup connection dialog is
displayed on the PC. When printing on the
TCP/IP Direct Print
Utility. When the dialup connection is set, if
printing is carried out from the TCP/IP
Direct Print Utility, the conditions could
occur. This dialog appears when printing
for the first time after starting the PC. It
will not appear when printing from then
on. Change the dialup setting by using
the existing browser.
[Windows 95/98/Me]
Operation varies with versions of Internet
Explorer.
[In the case of IE4.0]
(1) Open the property of Internet
Explorer and display the
[Connection] tab.
(2) Select [Connecting to the Internet
using LAN] on the [Connection].
[In the case of IE5.x]
(1) Open the property of Internet
Explorer and display the
[Connection] tab.
(2) Select [No dialing] or [Dialing if
network connection does not exist]
from the [Dialup settings].
The following methods are also available
in WindowsMe.
(1) Open the property of Internet
Explorer and display the
[Connection] tab.
(2) Select [No dialing] or [Dialing if not
connected to network] from the
[Preset Internet connection] or turn
off the [Preset Internet connection].
