Deleting the Installed Printer Icon
- Command Mode
For Windows NT 4.0/Windows 2000/Windows XP/Windows Server 2003, log on as a user of
the administrator group or as the administrator.
This command returns the following completion codes:
Command line
DELPRN (printer icon name)
( indicates spacing)
Parameter Printer icon name
Specify the printer icon name in the Printers and Faxes
(or Printers) window.
You can specify more than one name.
Startup example
DELPRN “DocuPrint 305-AP” “DocuPrint 340A-AP”
(when deleting two printer icons, DocuPrint 305 and DocuPrint
340A)
Enter the icon name within “ ” (double quotes) if space is
included in the printer icon name.
Error Display When you have entered an incorrect parameter, a “Invalid
parameter” dialog box will appear. In this case, click OK to end
the operation.
Value Explanation
0 Completed without error.
1 Specified printer icon does not exist.
(Also in the case when the printer icon specified is that of an unsupported printer
driver.)
10 No administrator rights (Windows NT/Windows 2000/Windows XP).
-1 Other errors.
