M99 minifant operating instructions
Version M99E from 20.02.2014
The mains voltage and the mains frequency
must correspond to the data on the name
plate.
5% voltage- or frequency variation is
permitted, and will not cause damage..
The 230V grounding socket must be fused
with a 16A circuit breaker.
3.3.2 Hose
connection
The material hose should be fixed to the airlock
outlet. In doing so, please note:
Secure the hose with a hose clamp to pre-
vent slipping.
Conveyor hoses which are smooth on the
inside lose less pressure than the blowing
hoses which are rough on the inside and so
lend themselves better to partition insulation.
3.4 Working with the machine.
The machine should be connected using a 230V
grounding socket with the power cable provided.
(see 3.3.1 electrical connection)
3.5 Switching on the machine
Switch on the main switch (emergency-off
switch).
After turning the Q1 main switch to position 1,
the green H1 standby lamp lights up.
A low voltage circuit breakerintegrated into the
main switch ensures that, with low voltage or
loss of voltage, the main switch cannot be
switched on or will automatically switch itself off.
With this system, machine operation with too
little voltage or uncontrolled machine restart
(manual or cable-operated) when the supply
returns after a failure is ruled out.
3.5.1 Warm-up
For failure free operation, the machine must be
warmed up for approx. 10-20 minutes. For
warm-up, the following adjustments are neces-
sary (see
Illustration
,
page 10
):
Move the S1 switch to the 'manual operation'
position
Move the S2 switch the the 'material' posi-
tion
3.5.2 Manual
operation
For operation, the following adjustments are
necessary (see
Illustration
,
page 10
):
Move the S1 switch to the 'manual opera-
tion' position
If only the air flow is required, the S2 switch
must be moved to the 'only air' position. To
switch on the air and material flow, the S2
switch must be moved to the 'material' posi-
tion.
3.5.3
Radio remote control operation
To establish radio remote control contact, carry out
the following steps (see
Illustration
,
page 10
:)
Move the S1 switch to the 'remote control' posi-
tion.
The radio receiver with the antenna must be
connected with a connection cable to the 'con-
trols connection' mains supply socket on the
control panel box. The best radio contact can
be achieved with the antenna pointing upwards.
To test the radio contact, it is recommended to
repeatedly switch the insulation blowing machine
on and off from the injection point.
3.5.3.1 Machine model M99 and M99-DS
The 'standard' and 'DS' machine models have 3
functions and can be controlled with radio remote
control:
Air:
Switch on the air flow (without material)
or switch off the material flow
Material
: Switch on air and material flow or
switch on material flow.
OFF:
Switch off air flow or the air and mate-
rial flow.

3.5.3.2 M99-DS-Pro model
The machine model 'DS-Pro' can be controlled by
radio remote control, e.g.
FFB2000-Pro,
or by
KFB2000
cable remote control. Additional func-
tions:
ON:
Switches on the air and the material
flow.
OFF
: Switches off the air and material flow
The air output and the airlock turning speed can be
set to many levels with the remote control.
