Problem Possible
causes
Solution
Q1 main switch
cannot be
switched on.
Interrupted or insufficient
pow-
er supply (low voltage)
Check the cable and power supply
Maintenance button doesn't work.
Wrong machine setting.
Move the S1 switch to the position "remote
control" and the S2 switch to "only air. Dis-
connect the receiver or controls from the ma-
chine.
Reverse maintenance doesn't work. Impeded start-up
The machine and the washers are cold. Leave
the machine to warm-up.
Q1
main switch cannot be switched
on but the green standby lamp still
lights up.
The F2 fusing intside the control
panel may be damaged.
Cause: excess voltage or a short
circuit in the receiver or control
cable of the cable remote control
caused by damage. .
Disconnect the
power supply from the ma-
chine. Replace the F2 fusing (fuse carrier la-
belled). Replacement fuses can be found on the
inside of the control cabinet door. Before
switching the machine back on again, discon-
nect the receiver (or the extension control cable
with cable remote control) from the machine. If
after replacement, the new fuses are blown, the
power supply must be checked for excess volt-
age. Otherwise, reconnect the receiver (or
extension control cable with cable remote con-
trol).
The red malfunction lamp is on.
The stirring unit / airlock is over-
loaded
The problem must be resolved. Before resolv-
ing the problem, the following adjustments must
be carried out in order to prevent uncontrolled
machine operation.
Before opening the control panel box,
disconnect the power plug.
Open the control panel box and press the motor
protection relay blue F1 reset button.
Shut the control panel box and plug the power
plug back in.
The cause of the problem must be resolved.
This could be a blockage in the stirring unit or
airlock see 3.5.7 maintenance buttons (reverse
operation)
No / disrupted radio remote opera-
tion.
Range is exceeded.
The transmission path can be shortened by
moving the receiver closer to the hand-held
transmitter (extension cable required)
Radio reception interrupted.
Eliminate the source of interference (if possi-
ble), or switch to manual or cable operation.
Battery charge in the hand-held
transmitter not sufficient.
Change batteries (replacement batteries in
receiver) see information in chapter 7
Insufficient pressure at airlock outlet
pressure.
Airlock gaskets are worn.
Replace airlock gaskets.
Shaft seals on the side are worn. Replace felt ring seals (only to be replaced by a
service technician)
Leakages in airflow between the
blower and airlock
Check the connecting tubes, hose clamps etc.
Blower does not operate on full
power
Set the blower control to maximum , check the
controls.
Blower is damaged
Check blower
Material flows intermittently or not at
all
It is possible that blockages are
forming in the agitator area.
Change the height of the extension pieces
attached to the stirring unit arm. This may help
to prevent blockages building.
6.2 FAQs (frequently asked questions)
1)
Can the machine also process wood fibreor similarly coarse insulation materials? What deter-
mines the processability of insulation material?
