Caution
Detergent can run off through the retentate nozzle.
In the case of drinking water or sensitive surface water, remove the out-
let tube from the retentate nozzle.
14 Open the lid of the filler nozzle of the cleaning solution or
unscrew the PurCon air outlet (option) on the top of the instru-
ment.
Cleaning the PurCon air outlet:
– Unscrew the four lateral knurled-head screws and remove
both caps and the inner insert.
– Thoroughly clean all parts using a water jet.
– Reassemble the parts. If necessary, slightly lubricate the
joint rings.
15 Use a suitable funnel to pour 2 l detergent solution into the
sample preparation instrument.
