OCATIONS
Prior to mounting the antenna within the aircraft, a suitable location for its placement should be
identified. Follow the guidelines identified in Remote Control Antenna Placement on page 28
when considering a location for the antenna. If no suitable location can be found for the antenna,
contact the WSI Customer Support for further assistance.

The antenna is mounted as follows:
(a)
Identify the proper location for the antenna.
(b)
Affix the antenna using appropriate non-conductive straps.
(c)
Affix the antenna cable near the antenna connector using an appropriate strapping
mechanism to minimize strain on the antenna connector.
(d)
Verify proper remote control reception at all locations where the remote control is likely
to be used.

OUTING
Route the wire according to industry guidelines. Avoid routing AV-350 cables with critical
aircraft wiring or with other transmitter antenna cables. The remote control antenna cable should
be at least 18 inches and no more than 50 feet. Longer cables may be used, but will result in
reduced range to the remote control.
