To turn the tailer power on, turn the disconnect switch to the ON position.

NOTE:

It is nec-

essary to have the edger powered on to operate the tailer. To turn the edger power on,
push the green MACHINE-START button on the edger control box. See the edger
Owner’s Manual to check how to operate the edger.

NOTE:

The covers and the electrical cabinet must be

closed before the edger can be started.

The emergency switches on the electrical box can be used to shutdown the tailer.

1.

Push the E-STOP button in an emergency to stop the tailer drive chain. This button must
be released by turning clockwise before the tailer can be restarted.

IMPORTANT:

The

E-STOP button shuts down both the tailer and the edger at the same time.

Pull out the emergency red wire around the tailer whenever it is necessary to shut down
the tailer and the edger.
