Angle guide: Assemble the angle guide as shown in Figures 6.1 - 6.4.
Angle guide for the guide bar: Install the long angle guide, the guide slide and the guide rails (Fig. 7.1). Shift the guide slide with the groove into the
angle guide and tighten the knurled screw clockwise (Fig. 7.2).
Push stick and holder: Screw the holder loosely together (Fig. 8.1), then shift it into the guidance and tighten the lock nut (Fig. 8.2). Put the push stick
on its holder (Fig. 8.3).
Switch clamp: Knot one end of the cord in the hole of the switch clamp, the other one with the table’s corner profile (Fig. 9).
WARNING: Make sure the cord is only so long that the switch clamp detaches itself automatically from the power tool, when the machine plate is
turned.
ASSEMBLY OF THE HAND-HELD CIRCULAR SAW
When assembling the hand-held circular saw for the first time, attach the guide bar to the table first, so that the saw blade can be aligned
parallel to it.
Assembly of the guide bar: Clamp both holders as shown in Fig. 10.1. Put the guide bar onto the table parallel to the groove in the worktop
and insert both metal clamps into the guide bar’s profile (Fig. 10.2). Now shift both clamps towards the holders. The guide bar will align itself exactly
at this moment. You can now tighten both clamps firmly (Fig. 10.3).
Removing the machine plate: First lift the gap insert slightly at the recess in order to disengage the machine plate (as shown in Fig 11.1).
Then pull the gap insert in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 11.2). Now lift out the gap insert (Fig. 11.3).
WARNING: The gap insert for the circular saw must always be pulled out before removing the machine plate!
Now lift the machine plate at the recessed grip (Fig. 11.4). In doing so, the machine plate will be detached from its four retaining bolts
and can be removed with both hands (Fig. 11.5). Now re-fit the gap insert (Fig. 11.6).
Putting the machine plate onto the guide bar: Put the machine plate from above onto the guidance of the guide bar (Fig. 12).
Insertable hand-held circular saws: Please refer to Fig. 13 for the admissible maximum dimensions of insertable hand-held circular saws.
Use only hand-held circular saws with splitting wedge, a saw blade with a maximum diameter of 200 mm and a maximum cutting depth of 70 mm.
Assembly and alignment of the hand-held circular saw: Loosen the locking for the circular saw’s cutting depth and retract the protective pendulum
hood. Now place the hand-held circular saw onto the machine plate. Set the cutting depth, but leave sufficient clearance in the groove of the
worktop and lock the cutting depth. Now align the saw blade of the hand-held circular saw parallel to the guide bar’s black rubber lip (Fig. 14.1).
Now install the six side stops in such a way that all their surfaces are in full contact with the machine’s base plate (Fig. 14.2) and then the four
clamping claws (Fig. 14.3). Remove the hand-held circular saw thus installed together with the machine plate and put them onto the table
as shown in Fig. 14.4. Now check, with the cutting depth fully extended, the distance from the saw blade’s foremost tooth to the foremost edge
of the gap insert (Fig. 14.5).
WARNING: This distance must be less than 20 mm. If necessary, re-align the hand-held circular saw in its longitudinal direction and re-adjust
the side stops accordingly.
After having placed the machine plate together with the hand-held circular saw onto the table’s four retaining bolts (Fig. 14.6), let the machine plate
slide into its holders from above at the four marked positions and let it click into place (Fig. 14.7).
WARNING: Make sure that the saw blade has been installed parallel to the opening in the gap insert and re-align the hand-held circular saw,
if necessary (Fig. 14.2 and Fig. 14.3).
Should the distance between the saw blade’s centre point and the outside edge of the circular saw’s base plate be larger than 128 mm, use the two
long side stops when assembling the saw (Fig. 14.8).
Connection with the power supply: Plug the appliance inlet of the hand-held circular saw into the safety switch and an extension cord from
the safety switch into the mains socket outlet (Fig. 15.1). The extension cord is not included in the scope of delivery.
WARNING: Press the thermostatic switch before the initial commissioning! Wait about 5 - 10 min after a power interruption due to overvoltage
before pressing the thermostatic switch. Then press the EIN/ON switch (Fig. 15.2).
Press the red button (OFF) at the safety switch and install the switch clamp on the hand-held circular saw (Fig. 15.3). Now press the green button
(ON) and check the free run of the saw blade in the gap insert (Fig. 15.4). Press finally the red button (OFF).
WARNING: Always pull out the mains plug, when you do not use or fold up the table.
The Master cut 2000 is now ready for use.
STATIONARY SAWING WITH THE HAND-HELD CIRCULAR SAW
WARNING: Always work with the protective hood and switch on the dust extraction at the protective hood.
Sawing with the angle guide
Shift the angle guide in its guidance (Fig. 16.1) and make sure that the black end of the stop runs as closely as possible under the protective hood,
so that the hood can be lifted (Fig. 16.2). Now retract the angle guide and put the work piece close to the angle guide. Switch on the hand-held
circular saw at the safety switch. Push the work piece with one hand in the direc-tion of the arrow towards the circular saw, while keeping the
other hand at the angle guide, as shown in Fig. 16.3. Keep pushing until the work piece is completely cut through. Following that, switch off
the hand-held circular saw at the safety switch.
