Attention!
Only operate the tool with sufficient chain oil.

Check the oil volume via the oil level indicator.
Note
The
approximately 80 ml, tank volume is
only sufficient for about 20 min running time.
Fill with chain oil

Risk of slipping due to spilt oil

Take care not to spill any oil.
¾
Immediately wipe up any spilt oil.
Attention!

Ensure that no dirt gets into the oil tank.

Fold the clip

on the tank cap upwards

Slowly unscrew the tank cap and take it off

Î
Fill carefully with chain lubricating oil to about
1 cm below the bottom edge of the filler

Retighten the tank cap and fold the clip

down

Note
The oil level can be seen in the oil fill level
indicator

Check chain lubrication
Î
Check the quantity of oil in the tank.
Î
Start the device.
Î
Hold the chain for a reasonable period about
15 cm above a suitable surface. If the chain lu-
brication is adequate, the oil sprayed off from the
saw chain leaves a light trail.
Adjusting the working angle

WARNING!
Risk of injuries due to the cutting tool.

Only adjust the device with the motor
switched off and the cutting tool at a
standstill.
¾
Before any work on the device, first
remove the operating arm with the
permanently installed power pack.
The device can be set in any of 5 different working
angles. This allows you to easily reach problematic
and difficulttoaccess positions in the garden
.

Press and hold the locating button

and insert the operating arm into the locator on
the pole saw until the locating button

Note
A middle handle is available as an optional
accessory for the operating arm. You can

tions in the operating manual for the
operating arm.
Switching the device on

WARNING!
Risk of injuries or material damage

Always hold on to the device with both
hands during operation. One hand holds
the handle, the other hand holds the
operating arm in the encased area or the
optionally available middle handle.

Remove the protective cover.

Press the lock-on switch

Simultaneously press the on/off switch

on the

Release the lock-on switch.

The device operates.

Release the on/off switch on the handle.

The device is switched off.
Note
The cutting tool continues to run for a brief
period after being switched off.
Note
The lock-on switch automatically returns to
its initial position when you release the on/off
switch.
