7. Calibration
Although the device does not contain any wearing parts, we recommend
to have it checked once a year, either by the manufacturer or an authorized
service.
8. Replacing the batteries
The batteries are completely discharged if only the software version or the
message
„Replace batteries“
appears on the display. To replace the batte-
ries: Remove the rear of the device using a slot-head screwdriver. Exchange
the batteries (CAUTION – pay attention to the correct polarity) and close the
device. If you change the batteries within 60 seconds, it is not necessary to
reset the time. Measuring data, settings and calibration remain stored for
least 10 years – even without batteries.
