3. Operation
Always check the device visually before use to ensure that it is only operated
in perfect and functional condition. After switching on the device, a self-test
is executed. After that date and time is indicated on the display. If the logger
function of the device was enabled beforehand, the word
„Log“
, followed by
current measuring and memory values, will be indicated before the device
switches off again. As long as the cursor set on the subprogram P=0 is flas-
hing, no hose may be connected and no differential pressure may be applied,
since the device performs a stabilization cycle and determines its zero
point
. After that, the display indicates the current differential pressure.

If overpressure is present at the hose connection marked with
(+)
, or if a va-
cuum is present at the hose connection marked with
(-)
, a positive differential
pressure will be indicated on the display. If the differential pressure exceeds
1,100.0 hPa, the device switches automatically to the upper measuring range
(up to 20,000 hPa).

items.
