7.1.4 One-row pump unit programming variants
Time ON / Time OFF variant
(For flow diagram see sub-section 11.3.1)
(Precondition: Control C/C3)
In this setting, the pump unit will be switched on within a particular adjustable cycle time for a
particular duration (delivery time). Here, the cycle time means the time that elapses between
the beginning of a delivery interval and the beginning of the next one.
When the delivery time P8 + P9 is selected to be equal to or bigger than the
cycle time P2 + P3, the pump unit will operate continuously!
Time ON / Distributor pulses OFF variant
(For flow diagram see sub-section 11.3.2)
(Precondition: Monitored progressive distributor, control C3)
In this variant, the pump unit is switched on within a specified cycle time. Delivery will
continue until the progessive distributor pulses has released a specified number of pulses.
The distributor monitoring P7 will be switched on in this mode automatically (when P5 is set
to 1).
P7 will not be reset automatically.
When changing the mode or resetting P5 to 0, the status of P7 needs to
checked and reset manually, if necessary!
Be careful to ensure that the duration of pulse release is smaller than
the cycle time!!!
Machine pulses ON / Time OFF variant
(For flow diagram see sub-section 11.3.3)
(Precondition: Control C/C3)
In this variant, the pump unit will be switched on for a particular duration (delivery time) when
a specified number of external control pulses (machine pulses, 24 V at pin 2) is available.
Machine pulses ON / Distributor pulses OFF variant
(For flow diagram see sub-section 11.3.4)
(Precondition: Monitored progressive distributor, control C3)
In this variant, the pump unit will be switched on when a specified number of external control
pulses is available. Delivery will continue until a specified number of progressive distributor
pulses has been released.
