The local hostname for the router (which name will appear for external devices on the network), it
can be changed at the System / System menu item, where you will find the
General Settings
tab,
at the Hostname field you can define a unique device name – to make it easy to identify the
device on the network.
4.5 RS232 and RS485 Settings (Serial Proxy)
For the proper settings of the RS232 and RS485 port communication, choose the Services / Serial
Proxy menu item. Here you can define the protocol conversion parameter settings, such as
receiving the incoming communication in the proper format and the transparent forwarding.
For first, the Serial Proxy must be Enabled for using RS485 communication.
There can be found the the Control port part where you can Enable and change the Port number.
If you want, you can use a Software Flow Control where you must Enabled, and define its Port
number.
At the Proxies part, there you will find the RS485 Port, which must be configured.
Choose the right value for the Protocol here:

raw: full duplexity

rawlp: one-direction communication

telnet: for further usage
