5.2 Monitoring the modem
Open the
Router / Modem parameters
menu item to set the watchdog of the device module. It
constantly monitors the operation of the module, its connection to the network, possible
disconnection and reconnection, and the availability of the mobile network. You can enter the
inspection parameters and frequencies of this service here.
The
Watchdog timeout
is the time that the device tolerates when the module is unavailable before
restarting it.
The
Max. RSSI error count
means the possible max. error in case of continuous signal strength
troubles. If it is permanently low or not available, the modem will be restarted as it is defined
accorfing the
Watchdog timeout
parameter.
The
Disable
turns off the module watchdog (which is not recommended).
The value of the
Debug level
field only refers to the detail of events in the log files module - you
should leave it at 0.
