PREPARATION AND OPERATION
Preparation:
A)
Remove the device from the package.
B)
Remove the display film and possibly further
packaging material.
C)
Check that all specified parts are present
(Figure A, page 186).
D)
Check the device for any damage. If the board
shows signs of damage, do not use the device
and contact your dealer.
Insert and replace batteries:
A)
Make sure the measuring device is off.
B)
Open the battery compartment cover (D)

Remove the packing material from the two
The device must not be exposed to direct light
of the sun, heat sources and cold, extreme
temperature fluctuations, dirt, moisture,
liquids, magnetic fields and direct shock.

Carefully open the package to prevent
damaging the rangefinder.

measuring device. Make sure the polarity is
correct.

USE OF LASER RANGEFINDER
Due to environmental influences, for
example, the sun light or a reflexion
might damage the measuring range
and the measuring precision.
Switching the laser on and off:
A)
Press (B) and keep it pressed until
the measuring device is switched on. The
illuminated display (A) indicates that the
measuring device is switched on. The laser
beam is already displayed at the position to
which the measuring device is pointing.
B)
To turn off the measuring device, press (C)
The front part of the counter releases a visible
laser beam. Never look directly into the beam,
close your eyes in case of contact and / or turn
your head sideways. Do not look into the
beam with optical aids. The laser beam
should not point other people or animals.
