4.1

Connecting via Ethernet

Once the WirelessHART gateway is connected to the Ethernet jack of your PC, update the local

network settings of your PC to communicate with the WirelessHART gateway.

Update Network Settings (Windows 7)

1. Connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet jack of your PC.
2. Choose

Windows Icon > Control Panel > Network an Sharing Center

3. In the

View your active networks

section, click

Local Area Connection

and then click

Properties

The

Local Area Connection Properties

window opens.
