17) Attach the shackle (94572H,

Fig. 8

) to

the gallery.

18) Put a wooden underlay (WU) in position

on the floor plate.

19) Attach the manual ratchet (H1) to the

shackle (94572H) and the lug (94116B).

20) Make sure that the manual ratchets (H1,

H3) hold the weight of the bearing

cover (1).

21) Remove the manual ratchet (H2) from

the lug (94116B).

22) Operate the manual ratchets (H1, H3) to

move the bearing cover (1) on to the

wooden underlay (WU).

23) Connect the HP hoses (94935,

Fig. 9

) to

the connection (1) on the hydraulic ram

(2) and the HP oil pump (94931).

24) Refer to

9403

−

to connect the HP hose

(94935) and the pressure gauge.

25) Operate the the HP oil pump (94110) to

get a pressure of 1530 bar.

26) Loosen the special screw (7) to unlock

the piston (6).

27) On the HP oil pump (94110), operate the

relief valve to release the pressure.

28) Disconnect the HP hose from the

connection (1) on the hydraulic ram (2).

29) Push the piston (6) fully in and remove

the thrust device (94110).

30) Remove the two Allen screws from the

bearing cover.

31) Remove the top bearing shell from the

bearing cover.
