3. Operation modes
3.3 Chimney sweeper
This function aids the performance of legally required emissions testing.
Note!
The chimney sweeper function can only be started in the modulation mode or step-loading operating phases.
In all other operating phases, the information "This function is not possible in this opera phase!" (Fig. 56) is
displayed when the chimney sweeper button is pressed and the function is not started.
The boiler temperature is regulated to approx. 70 °C for 45 min. on an MES INFINITY or MES PLUS control system. After
the lighting timer has counted down (12 min.), the display goes dark but the function remains unchanged. The first time
that you press the display, only the display is turned on.
The chimney sweeper function ends:
– When the

button is pressed.
– Automatically after 45 min.
Press on the InfoWIN Touch briefly to turn the display on. Press the chimney sweeper button on the homescreen
(Fig. 57) or
Chimney sweeper
in the menu to start the chimney sweeper function – Fig. 58.
