3.4.6 Cleaning fuel hopper and feed unit flap
It is necessary to clean the integral fuel hopper and/or flap in the feed unit if too much dust has collected, or
foreign bodies are in the integral fuel hopper.
– Using the ON/OFF button on the InfoWIN
PLUS
, turn off the boiler (Fig. 74) and wait until the display has gone
out (ca. 20 min).
Please note! Crush risk from rotating auger.
Before opening the inspection cover, always disconnect the boiler from the power supply.
Disconnect the mains power plug.
– Disconnect the mains power plug – Fig. 75.
– Place a container for the pellets at the front.
– Remove the cladding from the integral fuel hopper (see assembly instructions).
– Remove the screws from and carefully raise the inspection cover. Pellets may gush out depending on how
many are present– Fig. 76.
Emergency refill the fuel hopper:
– Remove pellets and dust from fuel hopper.
– Remove dust from the feed flap and proximity switch (Fig. 77, 78) and check that flap opens and closes
smoothly. It must make full contact with the seal..
