opening
1.) First, arrange a layer of
dry kindling.

layer of
crushed paper/cardboard

.
The
burnthrough
opening must
remain
clear.
2.) Add smaller sized split logs, then larger split logs, and
fill the filling chamber as required – Fig. 16.
Note!
After ignition, do not open the filling door except to replenish fuel. This ensures the fuel will burn
evenly without disruptions, and extends the replenishment intervals.
Note!
To ensure clean combustion and quick igni-
tion, fill the filling chamber at least halfway
and always prepare the basic firebed with
½ m pieces of wood.
3.)
Close the filling door.
4.) Light the paper
1
while the lighting door and vertical
grate are open.
Tip:
To simplify lighting, add a little more paper
1
at the
front.
5.)
Close the vertical grate.
6.) Press the information button on the InfoWIN
PLUS
to dis-
play the combustion chamber temperature. Once the
temperature in the combustion chamber reaches 500
°C, close the lighting and cladding doors. This auto-
matically starts the heating program.
2.6.2 Manual ignition
(no automatic ignition)
Tip:
If a lighting noise cannot be clearly heard, the burnthrough opening is probably covered or the fuel is
placed in such a way that excessively large cavities are present. To improve ignition, clear the burnthrough
opening.

Switzerland: for reasons of air hygiene (LRV), fire-lighters must be used instead of paper/cardboard.
