Installation on the basin floor with
stand

In this type of installation, the mixer is mounted to the bottom of the basin using a stand.
Two versions of the stand are available:
•
Stand with round pipe: The mixer can be aligned horizontally during the installation pro-
cess.
•
Stand with square pipe: The position of the stand determines the alignment of the mixer.
Subsequent alignment is not possible.
CAUTION! If the mixer was ordered for this type of installation, it will be delivered with
the appropriate stand frame pre-assembled. If the mixer is delivered without a frame, or-
der the appropriate frame from customer service!
Lay the connection cable along the basin
floor and upwards up the basin wall.

Operating space/installation location is prepared for the installation. Defined clearances
to fixtures and basin walls are kept in accordance with the consulting documents.

Mixer is not connected to the mains.
✓
The frame and support for the stand installation are mounted on the mixer.
1.
Position the stand on the basin floor and mark the 4 fixation holes.
2.
Drill fixation holes and insert anchor bolts.
NOTICE! Follow the manufacturer’s installa-
tion instructions!

Once the anchor bolts have hardened in place, fix the stand to the bottom of the basin
using the fixation material.

Lift the mixer using the hoisting gear and position it over the stand.
5.
Slowly lower the mixer:
-stand with round pipe: Thread the stand through the fastening clips.
- stand with square pipe: Thread the stand into the frame.

Lower the mixer until the support rests on the ground.
7.
Stand with round pipe only: Align the mixer and tighten the fastening clips.
8.
Lay the connection cable against the basin floor and the basin wall so that it is slightly
taut.
CAUTION! If the connection cable leads over the edge of the basin, beware of
potential abrasion. Sharp edges may damage the connection cable. Bevel the basin
edge if necessary!
9.
Apply corrosion protection (e.g. Sikaflex): Apply joint sealant between the stand and the
structure.

Mixer is installed. Make the electrical connection.

Installation using a lowering device
The mixer is lowered into the basin using a lowering device. The lowering device’s guide
pipe safely guides the mixer to the duty point. The resultant reaction forces are transferred
directly into the foundation via the lowering device. The foundation
must
be designed to
bear this load!
CAUTION! Material damage due to incorrect accessories! Due to the high reaction
forces, the mixer may only be operated with the manufacturer’s accessories (lowering
device and frame). If the mixer is ordered for installation with a lowering device, the
frame comes pre-assembled. If the mixer is delivered without a frame, order the appro-
priate frame from customer service!
