In the event of an error (
Err
.
1
,
Err
.
2
,
----
, etc.) an analogue signal slightly over 1 V
will be output.
5.7 Adjustment of the instrument
With “Offset” and “Scale”, both measuring inputs can be adjusted, so long as reliable
reference measuring instruments are available. As a reference instrument, use an
instrument with at least 3 ... 4 times better accuracy.
If an adjustment is made (deviation from factory setting), this is signalled with the
message
Corr
on switching on the instrument, and with an arrow next to
Corr
in the
display during operation.
Default setting of the zero point and slope values is:
off
= 0.0, i.e. no correction has
been made
■
Only offset correction:
Displayed value = measured value –
OFFS
■
Offset and slope correction:
Display = (measured value –
OFFS
) * (1 +
SCAL
/ 100 )
5.8 Pressure connection at the pressure sensors
The instrument has been designed so that all model CPT6200 sensors can be
connected without the need for any recalibration. This means that a large number of
fully interchangeable sensors are available for measuring ranges from 0 ... 100 mbar to
0 ... 1,000 bar (0 ... 1.5 psi to 0 ... 14,500 psi).
Reference pressure sensors, model CPT6200
For overpressure, vacuum and absolute pressure measurements: Screw sensor into
threads (G 1/2B) or connect the plastic hose to the pressure sensor using a suitable
adapter. Instrument connection is made via the sensor connection cable.
Differential pressure measurement with 2 sensors (only with 2-channel version)
Through the differential calculation sensor 1 - sensor 2 (DIF), the pressure difference of
the model CPT6200 sensors can be displayed.
5.9 Real-time clock
The real-time clock is needed for time stamping of the logger data and the calibration
time points. As a result, the clock settings should be checked regularly.
