8.3.3.
Operating the inner shields
The selection button (1) generally selects the function
of the Vario-Flex inner shield parts.
Switching between the various functions is possible
with multiple clicks.
Selection button functions inner shields (1):
V or wedge function (green)
The V or wedge function is active as soon as the green LED (1)
is lit (permanently lit). This moves the shield parts so that they
are pointing in the same direction (forwards/back).
180° function (yellow)
The 180° function is active as soon as the yellow LED flashes.
This moves the shield as a straight shield. Both sides of the
shield therefore move in the opposite direction.

In the V or wedge function, switch to 180°
function (LED flashes) and actuate the
hydraulics.
As soon as the two shield parts have
reached the 180° function, the shield
automatically swings further into the 180°
position.
The selection button (1) flashes yellow until
the shield has reached the 180° position.
Both LEDs (2 / 3) light up green as soon as the shield
reaches the 180° position and is 90° to the direction of
travel.
