OVEN TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Electrical Shock Hazard

Disconnect power before servicing.

Replace all parts and panels before operating.

Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.

WARNING

Refer to page 4-10 for the procedure for servic-

ing the oven temperature sensor.
1. Unplug range or disconnect power.
2. Disconnect the temperature sensor connec-

tor.

3. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1K scale.
4. To test the oven temperature sensor, touch

the ohmmeter test leads to the temperature

sensor connector pins. The meter should

indicate as shown in the chart below.

OVEN TOD

Refer to page 4-11 for the procedure for servic-

ing the oven TOD.
1. Unplug range or disconnect power.
2. Disconnect one of the wires from the oven

TOD terminals.

3. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the oven

TOD terminals. The meter should indicate

a closed circuit (0 Ω).
