Removing the Console/User Interface
To Remove the Console/User Interface
1. Unplug dryer or disconnect power.
2. Perform the procedure on page 4-9, “Remove the Top
Panel” prior to performing the following steps.
3. Remove the water tank from the dryer.
4. Remove the T20 Torx screw next to the water tank
opening (see Figure 1).

5. Perform the procedure on page 4-9, “Remove the Side
Panel(s)” to remove the “left” side panel.
6. Remove the “front” T20 Torx screws located on the top-
front, right-side panel (see Figure 2).
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.

7. On the left side of the dryer (left panel should be removed)
gently lift up on the left console tab to disengage left side
of console from the front bulkhead (see Figure 3).

8. Swivel the Console/UI out and unclip the right-side
console tab from the bulkhead(see Figure 4).

9. Disconnect the UI harness and remove the Console/UI
from the dryer.
