Removing the Interference Filter
To Remove the Interference Filter
1. Unplug dryer or disconnect power.
2. Perform the procedure on page 4-9, “Remove the Top
Panel” prior to performing the following steps.
3. Remove the harnesses from the Interference Filter (see
Figure 1).

4. Use a T20 Torx driver to remove the two (2) screws
securing the Interference Filter to the rear panel. See
Figure 2.
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
5. Slide the Interference Filter horizontally to release the
filter from back panel. See Figure 2.

NOTE:
When reinstalling the filter, the black wire is on top
and the red wire is on the bottom (see Figure 1).
