Operating
Recharging time is approx. 10 hours when having discharged
batteries and having the solar panel exposed to direct sunlight.
Then the flashlight can be operated for approx. 1 hour.
Operating the Flashlight
Remove the flashlight from the slot (3) of the solar charging
station. To do so press the release button (2) on the charging
station. The spring mechanism pushes out the flashlight.
Press the on/off switch (7) to switch on and off the flashlight.
The flashlight is splash proof when the rubber seal (10) is
plugged on the charging contact.
Inserting the Batteries
The flashlight alternatively can be operated with standard batteries,
in case there is no sunlight available for charging the batteries.
1. Turn the end cap (9) counter clockwise and remove it.
2. Remove the battery holder (8).
3. Remove the three rechargeable batteries from the holder and
replace them with three standard batteries type LR03 (AAA).
Mind the proper polarity. The minus poles (-) have to face the
tension springs (see illustration).
4. Replace the battery holder.
5. To secure the end cap replace it and turn it clockwise.
