Operating
Charging the Flashlight
Before using the flashlight the rechargeable batteries of the
flashlight have to be recharged. This will be done by means of the
solar panel (1) of the charging station.
Insert the flashlight, end cap (9) first, into the slot (3) of the charging
station until it audibly snaps in.
Make sure the rubber seal (10) located at the end cap of the
flashlight is plugged into the outer hole and not into the charging
contact so it can be recharged.

Open charging contact. The charging contact can be
sealed to protect the light against
splashing water.
ƒ Check the charging state of the batteries of the flashlight by
pressing the test button (6). If the test LED (5) shines brightly, the
batteries are fully charged. If the test LED does not shine or if
shines weakly, recharge the batteries of the flashlight.
ƒ For an optimal charging performance of the batteries, the solar
panel of the charging station should face direct sunlight.
Appropriately orientate the charging station.
ƒ If the ambient light is bright enough to recharge the batteries, the
green charging LED (4) shines brightly. If it is too dark for
recharging, the charging LED only shines weakly or it does not
shine at all.
