Operation
Alkaline batteries lose some of their energy in storage even if the batteries
are not use.
Refresh batteries before each use after a long storage period.
Store recharged or refreshed batteries separately from empty batteries, to
avoid mix-up.
Battery Size and Specification
Display „Charging State“
The bars (B) indicate the battery’s current energy level. 1 bar stands for 10%,
2 bars for 20% etc.
100 % Display before charging = the battery is full and does not need to be
charged
100 % Display during charging = the battery is charged
100 % display after charging = for Ni-Cd/Ni-MHs it means that , the batteries
are fully charged
for alkaline batteries it means, the best
possible energy supply is achieved.
Display „Battery Analysis“
The battery analysis (C) shows the self test process before charging.
Display „Warning Symbol“
The warning symbol (D) shows if battery is spent and cannot be
charged/refreshed. Dispose of the battery.
Display „Charging Time“
The charging time (E) is displayed and indicate the maximum possible
recharging time in hours. However, charging time often takes less time than
indicated.
When inserting a battery into the slot size AA is displayed first.
