Safety Notes
Only use the battery charger as indicated in this manual for charging
Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries and refreshing alkaline batteries. The unit is not
designed for continuous, professional use.
Only use the unit for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these
instructions. The unit is not designed for continuous, professional use.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed
to use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified
person or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the unit.
The battery charger is not a toy. Keep the battery charger out of reach of
children.
Dispose of any non-reusable packaging material properly or store it in a
safe location. Please note this material presents a choking hazard to
infants!
Never short circuit the charging contacts, the rechargeable batteries
themselves or the power supply.
Do not use a damaged power supply unit. Have the power supply replaced
by an original unit. The power supply unit is specially designed for use with
this unit. Do not attempt to use with other units. Do not attempt to operate
the battery charger with other types of charger.
Do not use the device outdoors. It is only suitable for indoor use.
Do not immediately operate the battery charger is there are temperature
changing, e.g. from a cold to warm location. Condensation may destroy
the device. First allow the battery charger to come to room temperature.
Avoid operating the battery charger under adverse conditions, such as
high moisture (>80 % rel. humidity, condensated), water, dust, flammable
gases, vapours, benzene, solvents and high temperatures (about +40° C)
or strong vibration. These adverse conditions can damage the electronics
and represent a risk for the user.
Do not cover the battery charger during use. The battery charger becomes
warm during operation.
Do not use aggressive chemicals or solvents such as petrol to clean the
device. Use only a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
