6. Cleaning and Maintenance
6.1 General Notes
•
This instrument is a precision measuring instrument and must be handled
with care. Do not modify the device or alter the internal circuits.
•
Maintenance and repair of the device should only be performed by a
qualified technician!
•
Make sure the instrument is kept away from sources of humidity and liq-
uids.
•
Do not expose the instrument to extreme temperatures and store the de-
vice at normal room temperature.
•
Accurate measurement results are only guaranteed if the device is han-
dled with care and well maintained.
•
Do not operate the device in a dusty or dirty environment.
•
Remove empty batteries from the device as soon as possible and replace
them with new ones. Leaking batteries can cause damage to the elec-
tronic circuits.
6. 2 Cleaning
•
Only clean the device with a soft moist cloth.
•
Only use common mild detergents for cleaning.
•
Do not use aggressive substances or similar for cleaning.
