Operation
Introduction
This micro gas soldering iron is a multi-purpose tool that can be
used as a soldering iron or hot knife, for deforming materials and
for heat shrink tubing. For each purpose, different accessory tips
are included. The device is delivered without gas filling. Only use
commercial lighter gas (butane) for filling.
Before first Use
Take the unit out of the package and dispose of the packaging
material (e.g. plastic bags) or store it out of the reach of children.
There is a danger of suffocation!
Filling the Gas Tank
Before filling make sure the gas filler valve (5) is tightly closed.
Only use commercial lighter gas (butane) for filling.
Turn the gas controller (3) to the
OFF position. If the unit was
previously used, allow it to cool
down fully.
Turn the unit upside down (filler
valve facing up).
Place the butane filling can on the
filler valve and fill for approx. 10
seconds.
Before reusing the micro soldering
iron, leave the unit for some
minutes to allow the gas to stabi-
lise.
