Safety Notes
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are
not allowed to use the unit, unless they are supervised for their
safety by a qualified person or are briefed by the responsible
person how to use the unit.
Do not use or store the unit in reach of children. It is not a
toy.
Keep the flame out of face and body parts.
Risk of burns! Do not touch the burner or the soldering tip
before they have cooled down completely!
Do not immerse hot parts into water. Allow to cool down before
cleaning.
Do fill in use propane gas. Only use butane gas to operate the
device.
Do not store the unit in places, where temperature may exceed
40°C (e.g. in the car).
Do not open, modify or disassemble the unit!
After each use, make sure the flame is really extinct.
When switching off and on the gas controller, escaping gas
may light up on the parts of the device that are still hot. Allow
the unit to cool down for at least one minute before re-opening
the gas controller again.
Wear safety glasses when using the device. Protect the device
from dropping and from hard shocks.
Use the device only in well ventilated rooms. Do not inhale
emitting fumes, especially cadmium coatings, galvanised
metals, paints and melting flux.
During breaks in your work, always place the unit on the
support on a level and solid surface.
