Operation

If the storage capacity of the storage device is exceeded, the word “
MEM FULL
”
appears on the display. The recording process stops. Insert a different
storage device with sufficient storage capacity.

If a write error on the storage device occurs while recording, the word “
REC
ERR
” appears on the display. The recording process stops. Format the storage
device as described in the following chapter.
Delete and Format USB Device / Memory Card
Delete an MP3 audio track
1. Use the SKIP + (8) and SKIP – (7) buttons in stop mode to select the audio
track you want to deleted from the selected storage device (
CARD
resp.
USB
).
Keep buttons pressed to browse quickly through the files and folders.
2. Press and hold the DELETE/STOP button (5) for approx. 2 seconds. The
word “
DEL ONE
” appears on the display.
3. Press this button again. Now the word “
DEL ONE
” and the name of the audio
track blink alternating on the display.
4. Press this button a third time to confirm deleting the selected audio track.
During deleting the word “
DELETing
” appears on the display.
Delete a Directory
1. Press and hold the DELETE/STOP button (5) in stop mode for approx. 2
seconds. The word “
DEL ONE
” appears on the display.
2. Press the SKIP + button (8). The word “
DEL DIR
” appears on the display.
3. Press the DELETE/STOP button (5) again. Now the word “
DEL DIR
” and the
name of the directory blink alternating on the display.
4. Press this button a third time to confirm deleting the previously selected
directory. After deleting the word “
No file
” appears on the display. This
indicates that no MP3 tracks are found in the selected directory.
Delete all MP3 files from the storage device
1. Press and hold the DELETE/STOP button (5) in stop mode for approx. 2
seconds. The word “
DEL ONE
” appears on the display.
2. Press the SKIP + button (8) twice. The word “
DEL ALL
” appears on the display.
3. Press the DELETE/STOP button again. The word “
DEL ALL
” blinks on the
display.
4. Press this button a third time to confirm deleting all MP3 files from the
inserted storage device. After deleting the word “
No file
” appears on the
display. This indicates that no MP3 tracks are found on the storage device.
