Safety Notes
Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
ƒ
This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes on operating
the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit if it is handed over to a third
party!
ƒ Dispose of the packaging materials carefully; the plastic bags may become a
deadly toy for children.
ƒ Please make sure the mains voltage available in your area corresponds to
the operating voltage stated on the type label.
ƒ Do not continue to use the unit if the unit or the line cord are damaged.
Repair work must be done by a qualified service technician.
ƒ Do not conduct the line cord over sharp edges and corners or hot
surfaces.
ƒ Switch the unit off and unplug it if you don't use it or clean it. Never pull on
the power cord, always grasp the plug itself to unplug.
ƒ The record player is only disconnected from the power mains when the
power plug has been unplugged from the wall socket. The power plug must
always be easily accessible.
ƒ
Keep the unit out of the reach of children. It is not a toy.
ƒ Do not place any burning objects (e.g. candles) on the top of the record
player.
ƒ Do not place any objects containing liquids (e.g. flower vase) on the top of
the record player.
ƒ Do not use the unit in the vicinity of hot surfaces or in damp environments.
Protect it from direct sunlight, strong magnetic fields and dusty conditions.
ƒ Protect the unit from impacts and strong vibrations.
ƒ Use the record player on a solid and horizontal surface.
ƒ Use the record player only with the supplied accessory.
ƒ Do not disassemble the unit or attempt to repair it yourself. It does not
contain parts serviceable by you. In the case of questions or problems, turn to
our customer support.
