Operation
Playback a Record
ƒ
Press the power switch (1) to switch on the record player. The background
light of the display (2) shines blue.
ƒ
Press the function button FUNC. (3) as many times until the word “
PHONO
”
appears on the display.
ƒ
Switch on the audio amplifier and select the corresponding line input.
ƒ
Put the record to be played back onto the turntable (17).
ƒ
Use the supplied single adaptor (22) if you intend to play back a single (45rpm
with large centre hole).
ƒ
Use the speed control switch (12) to select the speed according to the speed
that is printed on the record.
ƒ
Pull back the safety lever of the tone arm rest (13).
ƒ
Push back the tone arm lever (11).
ƒ
Move the tone arm (10) to the desired position on the record. The turntable
starts spinning.
ƒ
Carefully pull down the tone arm lever. The tone arm slowly slides onto the
record. The record player plays back the record.
ƒ
Press the stop button (15) to stop the turntable.
ƒ
Press the play button (16) to continue playback.
ƒ
Press the eject button (14) during playback to reset the tone arm automatically
to the tone arm rest. Playback stops.
ƒ
If music playing finished because the end of the record has been reached, the
tone arm automatically resets to the tone arm rest.
ƒ
If you do not intend to use the record player for some time, put the plastic
needle cover back on the needle to protect the needle.
