Cutting Tool – Spool

Replacing the Plastic Thread

Dismount the gear shaft from the motor unit!

1. Depress vigorously both latches

on the housing in order to
dismount the spool.

2. Remove the cover of the spool.

3. Wind a new plastic thread

around  the  holder.  Wind  the
thread  tightly  around  the  holder
by  turning  counter  clockwise.
The  spacer  in  the  middle  of the
holder

will

separate

both

threads  from  each  other.  Hint:
On the bottom side of the thread
holder  you  will  find  the  wind
direction  for  the  thread.  Wind
the  thread  in  direction  WIND
CORD.

4. Hook the last 15 cm of the

thread end into the provided
notches in the holder.

5. Guide both thread ends through

the metal eyelets in the spool
housing

and

re-attach

the

thread holder into the cover.
Make sure the parts lock audibly
and visibly into each other.

6. Mount the spool on the tool

holder again.
