Release Button

Mounting the Spool

Before mounting the spool, dismount the gear shaft from the
motor unit or remove the spark plug cap!

To operate the machine as grass-trimmer, mount the spool on the gear
case

1. Block the cutting tool holder of the gear case (1) by using the

toothed locking disc (A) and the included hex key. Insert the hex
key into the provided opening.

Attention LEFT-HAND THREAD!

2. Turn the spool on the cutting tool holder and turn the spool counter

clockwise. Hold the hex key tight while turning the spool on the
thread.
