Recipes for Cake/Bread
Preparation:
Mix the ingredients (except of water) in the bowl. Run the mixer at speed

– 2 and gradually add the liquid. When the dough ball becomes more
formed, increase the speed to 3
– 4. Knead for some minutes on this
speed, till the dough ball is smooth. Remove from the bowl and split into 2
pieces. Roll into pizza bases (circles or rectangles), and then lay them on
a baking tray. Spread the pizza bases with tomato purée and add toppings
(mushrooms, ham, olives, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, etc.). Top with
Pizza cheese and according to taste with dried herbs. Bake in a preheated
oven at 200° C for 15
– 20 minutes, till the toppings are golden brown.
Basic White Bread
Preparation:
Use the mixing instructions for pizza dough, then put the dough in a bowl,
cover and leave in a warm place till it’s doubled in size (30 – 40 minutes).
Knead lightly on a floured board, roll into shape and put it in a tin. Cover
and leave in a warm place to rise (approx. 30 minutes). Bake in a pre-
heated oven at 200° C for 25
– 30 minutes.

1 sachet active dried yeast
345 ml warm water
1 tbsp sunflower oil or butter
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp salt
