7. Mount the grinding stone (step 1 )
on the drive shaft. Secure the
grinding stone with the nut and
the washer.
8. Finally, mount the protective
hood on the pin on the motor
support (step
2 ). Align the hood
in such a way that the grinding
stone is covered and secure it
with the retaining screw.
The machine is now ready for use.
Operation
Before connecting the machine to the power mains make sure the machine is
turned off to prevent unintended starting.
Always pull the power plug before undertaking any kind of work on the
machine.
Setting up the Machine
1. Remove the knob, all washers, the spring, and the centring piece from the
saw blade supporting arm.
2. Set the saw blade you intend to sharpen onto the pin and mount all pieces
as shown below.
