Safety Notes
Please note the included General Safety Notes and the following
safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
 Keep the tool out of reach of children. It is not a toy.
 Only use this unit according to this instruction manual and for the intended
use. The unit has not been designed for continuous, professional use.

Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed
to use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
 Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the machine.

This machine is designed for sharpening circular saw blades up to a
diameter of 400 mm.
 Only use accessories for this machine recommended by Westfalia.
 When working, always wear protection goggles. Wear suitable
clothes. Take off jewellery and tie long hair.
 Protect your ears. Wear ear protectors.
 Keep your hands clear of the saw blade.
 Do not operate the machine without the protective cover and make sure
that all parts are firmly assembled before starting the machine.
 Always clamp the machine down securely.
 Do not operate the machine if it does not work correctly or has been
dropped. Do not disassemble the machine and do not try to repair it
yourself. Contact your customer support.
 Observe the max. allowable operating time. See technical data on
page 20.
