(c ) D6C, a SPDT switch located in Unit C which c on-
neots the plate circuit of this unit to e ither
the 50-kw fi lter condens er as semb ly (FC50P ) or
the 5-kw as semb ly (FC51P ) .
( 5 ) Leave the 5-kw encl osur e, clos e door, and open the
5-kw rectifier grounding swit ch.
( 6 ) Clos e 11H. V. R ectifier" switch D4F.
This places the transmitter back on the air at 5-kw,
without further adjustment . If desired, operations ( 1 ) and
( 6 ) ab ove may b e omitted, s ince if switch D4F is left
clos e d, operation of the grounding swit che s will s erve to
remove and restore the carrier .
After the ab ove procedure the fi laments of units D, E,
H and K, and the motor blower in Unit H, are still 110Nn .
The 46 0-volt supply to the two rectifiers may be cut off by
