Power Distribution Cabinet
This unit contains
contactors, disconnect switches ann circuit breakers for the
various 460-volt circuits of the transmitter, filament start­
ing resistors for the 50-kw stage, and power-supply trans­
formers for the preliminary stages.
5-kw Plate Transformer This is a three-phase
plate-supply transformer, supplied with 460 volts regulated
power for emergency 5-k w operation.

assem bly includes the high-voltage condenser for filtering
the output of Unit
G,
its charging resistor and associated
contactor.
Filter Choke Coil This coil to­
gether with the above condenser forms the plate-supply fil­
ter for Unit C, for emergency operation at 5 -kw output .
Outside Enclosures
(Unit This equipment con­
sists of two water-pumps (one a spare), two air-blast radia­
tors with their blower motors and associated disconnects,
a tank, and the necessary valves and fittings. The insulat­
ing ceramic piping for the power amplifier stage is usually
supported below the basement ceiling.
Transformer
This equipment consists of three high-voltage plate­
supply transformers, and an induction regulator (T 56P) for
varying the primary supply voltage to these transformers.
These units have been designed for out-of-door or in-door
mounting.
