18 General system commands
The application commands described in this section are basic con
fi
guration commands that do not
relate to speci
fi
c types of application or network.
18.1 CONFIG Show/Save Confi guration
The
confi g
command is used for the following purposes to show current or stored con
fi
guration
settings, to save the current con
fi
guration or to specify which con
fi
guration is to be used when the unit
is powered up or rebooted.
The format of the con
fi
g command is:
confi g <0|1|c> <save|show|powerup>
Two separate con
fi
gurations can be stored, numbered 0 and 1. The
fi
rst parameter of the con
fi
g
command speci
fi
es to which con
fi
guration the command applies. The letter “c” denotes the current
con
fi
guration settings, i.e. those currently in use.
The second parameter is one of the following keywords:
♦
show
displays the speci
fi
ed con
fi
guration (either 0, 1 or c for the current con
fi
guration)
♦
save
saves the current settings as the speci
fi
ed con
fi
guration (either 0 or 1)
♦
powerup
sets the
speci
fi
ed con
fi
guration (either 0 or 1) to be used at power-up or reboot
For example, to display the current con
fi
guration use the command:
confi g c show
The output will appear similar to the following example:
bind PAD 0 ASY
0
pad 0 l2iface LAP
B
cmd 0 username Westermo
cmd 0 epassword Oz57X0k
d
cmd 0 hostname IR214
0
O
K
The con
fi
g
fi
les only contain details of those settings that are different from the unit’s default settings.
If you make a setting that is the same as the default setting, it will not appear in a stored con
fi
guration.
To save the current settings to con

guration
fi
le 1, enter:
confi g 1 save
To use con
fi
guration 1 when the unit is powered up or rebooted, enter:
confi g 1 powerup
18.2 REBOOT Reboot Unit
The
reboot

the main image
