5. Installation and commissioning
! CAUTION
When working on or inside the machine, note that the sheet metal parts used are sometimes
sharp-edged and you can injure yourself. Wear suitable protective gloves!
Follow the instructions below during assembly and installation to ensure optimum functioning of the ice cube
maker:
5.1 Assembly
Make sure that the installation site is firm and level and that there is good ventilation.
The installation area must withstand the weight loads.
The installation height should be at least 100 mm above the drain or funnel siphon.
Do not sit or stand on the ice maker! Do not place any objects on the device!
Do not lift the ice maker by the ice removal flap!
ADVICE:
Under certain environmental conditions (e.g. high ambient temperature and / or high air humidity) condensation can
form in the area of the ice maker.
The ice cube maker must not be operated in the following environments:
atmosphere subject to explosion hazard,
toxic atmosphere,
damp rooms.
Direct heat sources such as ovens, dishwashers etc. will impair the performance of the ice cube maker and
increase the cleaning effort and energy consumption.
! CAUTION
Always handle the box or the unpacked device or the individual modules in pairs!
5.1.1
Unpack the machine after delivery. (Please keep the packaging in case you have to return the machine for
servicing.) Prior to installation, please remove the white protective foil from the covering panels.
5.1.2
The device should be positioned absolutely level. Use the adjustable feet for proper alignment (see Fig.
5.1.2). Then create a slight slope towards the back by setting a height difference of no more than 5 mm between
the front and rear feet.
Do not alter the horizontal alignment across the width of the device!
