1.2.3 Modifications
This machine must not be modified without prior written approval from the manufacturer, also
removal or addition of parts is not allowed !!
Machine components that are not in faultless condition must be replaced. Only use original
spare parts. Third-party parts cannot be guaranteed to be designed and manufactured to meet
the operational and safety requirements. Non-compliance with these instructions will void the
manufacturer's warranty !!

2. General safety notes
The operating instructions and all safety-relevant documents should be kept in a generally
accessible place at all times. In addition to the operating instructions, the general and local
accident prevention and environmental protection regulations must be made available and
followed. Keep all safety and hazard signs on the machine in a legible state and replace if
necessary.
2.1 Machine operation
The ice cube maker is a state of the art piece of equipment and has been produced according
to recognised safety specifications. However, during its operation danger to the operator or third
persons or impairment of the machine and other property may occur. The machine must only be
operated in faultless condition and only for its designated purpose. Any faults that may have an
impact upon safety must be rectified immediately.
2.2 Safety measures during operation
The operators should receive regular training about proper operation (commissioning, cleaning,
shutting down etc.) of the ice maker. The machine should only be operated with all safety
devices in working order. During operation, ensure that no persons are put at risk as a result of
the operating machine.
2.3 Risks from electricity
Work on the electrical installation may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
The electrical equipment of the machine should be checked regularly in accordance with the
relevant regulations. Loose connections or damaged cables must be rectified immediately.
Water hoses or high-pressure cleaners may cause a short-circuit and must not be used.
Since the power plug has a power disconnection function, it must be freely accessible
after the device has been installed or built-in
. If this is not the case, a cut-off device must be
provided by the plant operator which is effective for all poles, e.g. fuses with at least 3 mm
contact opening, which can be used to isolate the equipment from the power supply when repair
and installation work are carried out.
