5.4 Installation water cooled units (version W)
Water-cooled ice cube makers can be installed without taking into account the minimum distances and without
provision for air circulation. However there should be distance to the wall from the back side of the machine in
order to have enough space for the connection tubes (see Fig. 5.4.a).
IMPORTANT:
When the device is pushed back in, the water drain tube may become bent or kinked, thus preventing
draining of the water. Please keep an eye on the tube during re-assembly.
Please conne
ct the enclosed inlet hose (DN 8; ¾”–screwing) with the water inlet (3) and with the water tab
(cold water-/ fresh water inlet).Make sure that the rubber sealing is well in place.
Please connect the enclosed outlet hose (DN 20) with the residual water outlet (5), then run the water drain
tube to the waste water system. Ensure that the tube has a continuous gradient and no bends. Without adequate
gradient of the drain tube, the storage container may overflow and cause water damage
Please connect the enclosed outlet hose (DN 10) with the cooling water outlet (1), then run the cooling water
drain tube to the waste water system. Ensure that the tube has a continuous gradient and no bends.
IMPORTANT:
For hygienic reasons, the outlet hoses must not be connected directly to the (5)waste water
system (see Fig. 5.4.b).
